Rock It: Dino Beach Rock Festival Lineup

The lineup for this summer's Rock It festival, Shanghai's only outdoor rock festival, has been released. It takes place over three days at the end of the month — June 29, 30 and July 1 — and features "36 of the most exciting rock bands in China." Tickets are 120 yuan per day but 60 yuan after 6 pm.

Bus routes that go there are the 739, the 47, the 763, the 983 and the 763. The show is being put on by Wu Jun, the guy who puts on the rock shows at Bonbon on Sundays. With that Bonbon cash money behind him, he has indeed managed to round up some of the best bands in the PRC. Along with local favorites Fuck'n'rolls, Muscle Snog, The Honeys, and Banana Monkey, out-of-town bands include Chengdu's Proximity Butterfly, and Beijing bands Tookoo, Joyside, New Pants and The Re-TROS.
